Steger Wilderness Center | Drone Site Survey

The Dining Wild studio was very lucky to be joined on our first day by Kelly Ness, an instructor in the department of Civil Engineering and Survey at Dunwoody.  He brought his drone with camera attachment and showed us what site survey has become.  Thanks, Kelly!

Kelly Ness shoots video and captures point cloud data via remote control.
Will Steger and Josiah check out the flight path of the drone.
An image of the point cloud data and the list of photographs Kelly is stitching together to extract three dimensional information about the site.
