What I love here is the use of the windows to maximize the light in the space, how it gently filters in through the more active area around the piano into the cozy along the right wall.

The space on the left seems to make a wonderful area that brings the outdoors in, without compromising the comfort of the space.

The photo on the right also has a wonderful way of helping you connect with the outdoors, but with a very different execution.
